|Ghost in the Shell (2017) Scarlett Johansson|
The movie Ghost in the Shell is a ground-breaking seinen manga series written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow. The 1995 animated movie is considered a sci-fi classic and it took decades to bring to screen in live-action. While reviews are mixed, PopMatters described the movie as "a visually sumptuous, thrilling, sci-fi action movie about the central character's quest for her identity".
One of the many talented artists working on the film is Keith Christensen. He worked with costume designer Kurt and Bart on these designs and kindly sent me these images.
Keith Christensen is a concept artist who's worked on big-budget films like Man of Steel (2013), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), and X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
