|Avengers: Age of Ultron concept artist Andy Park|
A while back I featured the massive San Diego Comic Con 2014 poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron. One of the talented artists that worked on the poster - and also the 2012 Avengers Comic Con poster - kindly agreed to a brief interview about working on it.
Andy Park is a professional concept artist who's worked on big budget projects like Thor: The Dark World (2013), Iron Man 3 (2013) and Marvel's the The Avengers (2012)

Here's what he had to say about his work on the Avengers 2 poster:
"The 8 Marvel Studios Avengers: The Age of Ultron poster set done for San Diego Comic Con 2014 was done by myself, Ryan Meinerding, and Charlie Wen." Park said, "Ryan initially came up with the overall look and layout of the piece. It was then divided up for each of us to paint up. I illustrated the Black Widow and Scarlet Witch posters, Charlie did the Hulk and Thor posters, and Ryan did the remaining 4. This was a sort of reunion piece for us as we also did the 7 poster set for Comic Con back in 2011 for The Avengers film. Doing these posters are definitely career highlights for me not only because of the high profile nature of the projects they’re done for, but also because of the collaboration I get to have with two of the artists that I respect the most.
"It’s a tremendous honor to be a part of Marvel Studios’ Visual Development Department. I’ve been a part of the team since 2010 working on all the Marvel Studios films since Captain America: The First Avengers. So far I’ve designed characters and keyframes for Cap 1, Thor, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Before that I was one of the leading concept artists at Sony Santa Monica designing the characters, creatures, and overall look for the God of War franchise. And before that, I was a comic book artist for about a decade working on such comic book titles as Tomb Raider, Weapon X, Excalibur, and Uncanny X-Men.
"It’s definitely an exciting time here at Marvel Studios and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
