A film based on the hit game Bioshock was proposed in 2008. It went through directors like Gore Verbinski and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo before the project was dropped because of the proposed R rating and soaring budget. Two artists who worked on the film have released concept art that show what it could have looked like.

Kasra Farahani is a professional concept artist who's worked on big budget films like Avatar (2008), Alice in Wonderland (2010) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008). Jim Martin is a professional illustrator who's worked on Hollywood films like Superman Flyby, Spider-Man (2002) and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011).

BioShock lets you do the impossible as you explore a mysterious underwater city. When your plane crashes, you discover Rapture - an underwater Utopia torn apart by civil war.
