Check out Masters of the Universe concept art by Edward Eyth!
Welcome to Flashback Friday where I feature artwork from classic science-fiction movies or tv shows. Today's feature is Masters of the Universe (1987).
The Masters of the Universe movie is based on the long-running popular toy line "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe". It tells the story of an alternate dimension where the muscle-bound warrior He-Man fights the evil Skeletor and his minions. While the movie underperformed at the box office it's become a cult classic and is beloved by fans around the world.
Recently news broke that the long-planned reboot is in the works. The untitled Masters of the Universe film is being directed by the Nee Brothers (Aaron and Adam Nee) and stars Noah Centineo as He-Man.
Recently Edward Eyth reached out to me to share his artwork for the first MotU film.
Edward Eyth is a professional concept artist who's worked on major motion pictures like Back to the Future Part II (1989), The Rocketeer (1991), and Coneheads (1993).
