Jurassic World (2015) - Claire |
Jurassic World had an incredible weekend opening and is the first film to make over $500 million worldwide in the first weekend. Part of what makes the film so enticing is the idea of dinosaurs fighting each other and one scene at the end of the movie topped all others.
One of the storyboard artists sent me exclusive storyboards from a key fight scene in the film. They show the level of detail and destruction planned and the name change of the new dinosaur. Amy Lynn Umezu is a professional storyboard artist who's worked on Hollywood movies like The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) and Insurgent (2015)

In one scene the genetically engineered Indominous Rex (known as Diabolus Rex or D-Rex in pre-production) fights Raptors and a Tyrannosaurus Rex while the humans flee in terror.
She said working on the film is "one of the best experiences, ever. It was a very humbling experience In all aspects. I am very grateful that I was allowed to work on the film."
