Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) |
Every Friday I feature artwork from a classic of science fiction cinema. This week's "Flashback Friday" post is on The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
Jurassic World is breaking box office records by the dozen, but back in 1997 another Jurassic Park film broke the box office. Steve Spielberg returned to direct rhe sequel based on Michael Crichton's book of the same name and it took the world by storm. It set records for opening weekend, highest single-day box office, fastest film to pass the $100 million mark and is the second highest grossing film of 1997 behind Titanic. Several of the talented artists working on the film have shared their work over the years and here are the ones by Warren Manser.
Warren Manser is a professional concept artist who's worked on major Hollywood movies like Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Man of Steel (2012) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
