The young adult novel The Maze Runner by James Dashner, about a boy who wakes up with no memory in a mysterious maze, is already a best-selling novel. The upcoming movie looks to be a blockbuster hit. 20th Century Fox is so confident that they've already started work on the sequel, The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. "We’ve got stages, we’ve got crews coming in, Dylan [O’Brien] will be back in a few weeks, we’re building sets, and the script is being written," The Maze Runner director Wes Ball told BuzzFeed. "It’s a bit of a race this time because we’re cautiously optimistic, but we’re feeling excited we’re about to do something that’s way more sophisticated, way more grown up, and really set up a saga here."

One of the artists that worked on the film, Wayne John Haag, has shared some gorgeous concept art from the movie. If it's half as good as the artwork, it should rock.

Wayne Haag is a professional concept artist and matte painter who's worked on Hollywood movies like The Wolverine (2013), Superman Returns (2006) and The Fifth Element (1997).

"Here are the two images I created with some small pencil roughs that I did to explore the compositions. I have also re-posted the original pencil sketch I did for the poster idea." - Wayne John Haag
