See Mr. Freeze's Unused Jet-Pack in Insanely Cool BATMAN & ROBIN Concept Art by Patrick Janicke

Batman & Robin (1997) by Patrick Janicke

Check out Batman & Robin concept art by Patrick Janicke!

I've been on kind of a Batman & Robin concept art kick for a while, but here's one more set of gorgeous illustrations from the terminally awful, but visually arresting, film. The whole movie was an explosion of color and light and Mr. Freeze was no exception. Patrick Janicke did some illustrations that pop and flash with the same brilliance as the film.

Patrick Janicke is a professional concept artist who's worked on big budget movies like Fantastic Four (2005), Spider-Man (2002) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009).

  1. That artwork is ten times more impressive than the movie.

  2. It's certainly as colorful Alex. And yeah, the plot was horrible.

  3. "terminally awful, but visually arresting" - well said.

I actually have a hard time remembering which of the '80s-'90s Batman series I've seen - pretty sure it was the first two but not the last two. Can't think about them without getting that Seal song stuck in my head either...
