Unused GREEN LANTERN Parallax Concept Art by Jerad S. Marantz

Check out Green Lantern concept art by Jerad S. Marantz!

The Green Lantern movie is come and gone, but I still find the film fascinating in many ways. Mostly because of missed opportunities. So, when I came across some concept art for Krona (the Green Lantern who became Parallax) I knew I had to share it. There is also a design for a four-armed Green Lantern girl that was cut from the film.

The illustrations are from Jerad S. Marantz and, if the style looks familiar, it's because I already shared his amazing designs for the Guardians.

Jerad S. Marantz is a professional concept/storyboard artist who's worked on Hollywood movies and television shows like Grimm, I Am Legend and G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

What do you think of the concept art? If you've seen Green Lantern what did you think?

  1. I haven't seen the movie but the New 52 relaunch sparked interest in GL for me. I love the Guardians - like floating Oompa-Loompas.

I still enjoyed it. The movie had flaws, but this DC fan appreciated the effort.
