Sony's blockbuster sequel to Venom is racking it in at the box office. Venom: Let There Be Carnage earned another $5.75 million in its fifth week and is now well on its way to an amazing $400 million box office take. Very impressive for the Lethal Protector. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment also announced the date of the 4K and Blu-Ray home video releases for the movie. They're both dropping on the market on December 14, 2021. Chances are the home sales will be a hit too.
The movie follows Eddie Brock \ Venom (Tom Hardy) as he tries to stop the serial killer Cletus Kasady / Carnage (Woody Harrelson). At the end of the film, there's a climactic battle between Venom and Carnage at Fillmore cathedral and senior concept artist Brandon Gobey shared some amazing artwork on his site from early drafts of the scene. He also showed some designs for the fearsome creature's tendrils.

"One of the various keyframe ideas we did for the final act, took a different direction but still a fan of the shot," Gobey said on his Artstation page. "Some stuff done early on in the development of Carnage, glad to see his design didn’t change much in the final product."
He said he worked on the film for two years since "day one" and did many Carnage designs. "The production teams did a great job of keeping Carnage true to the art department's work," he added.
