Welcome to Flashback Friday where I feature artwork from classic science-fiction movies or tv shows. Today's feature is Batman Returns.

Back when the Batman movie sequel was in production they hired Annette Bening to play Selina Kyle / Catwoman. Then Bening got pregnant and it threw the production into a panic. "We were a little bit in a panic because we'd fitted the costumes and the mask and everything and then Annette was pregnant," said producer Denise Di Novi said in "Batman: The Definitive History of the Dark Knight in Comics, Film, and Beyond". But, in the end, they were able to use some of the same costumes for Michelle Pfeiffer who's performance has become the definitive look for the character.

One of the talented artists working on the film shared storyboards of Catwoman from the film.

Michael Anthony Jackson is a professional concept artist who's worked on cinema films like Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Iron Man (2008), and Fantastic Four 2015 (2015).
