Unseen CAPTAIN AMERICA:THE WINTER SOLDIER storyboards by Richard Bennett, Philip Keller and Alex Hillkurtz
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) storyboards by Richard Bennett |
There are some amazing scenes in the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier and an army of artists helped bring it to life. One way to help a diector visualize a scene is by using animated storyboards called "animatics". James Rothwell helped make those and recently shared some amazing ones on his blog. A few interesting changes are an alternate WWII opening with the Howling Commandos and Steve doesn't give a warning for the elevator fght. Plus, there's an appearance by Clay Quartermain who is featured prominently in the comics, but hasn't made a movie appearance.
James Rothwell has made animatics for films like Iron Man (2008), Thor (2011) and Spider-Man 2 (2004). Richard Bennett, Philip Keller and Alex Hillkurtz are professional concept and storyboard artists who've worked on major Hollywood movies like Star Trek (2009), Iron Man (2008) and Wing Commander (1999).
