THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Bank Chase Storyboards by Gabriel Hardman

The Dark Knight Rises (2012) storyboards by Gabriel Hardman

Check out The Dark Knight Rises storyboards by Gabriel Hardman!

Gabriel Hardman is one of the top storyboard artists in the industry, but his name isn't widely known except for his massive comic book following. He expressed his frustration about this in an interview with First Cosmic News saying, "But there is a level of frustration with it, just because, it pays well, it is a good solid career, but no one ever gets to see the work that you do, you don’t go to a movie and see the contributions of the storyboard artist. So the great thing about comics even if it is a smaller group of people, people are seeing the work that I do. People are seeing the work I do, what I draw and what gets published and there  is satisfaction in that."

I've already shared his work on The Dark Knight Rises for Christopher Nolan before, but here are a few more storyboards I thought you'd enjoy. They're from the scene when Bane and his men are escaping from the Gotham Stock Exchange.

Gabriel Hardman is a professional storyboard artist who's worked on major motion pictures like Inception (2010), X2 (2003) and Spider-Man 3 (2007)

What do you think of the storyboards? If you've seen The Dark Knight Rises what do you think of the chase scene? Do you think storyboard artists should get more credit?

Official The Dark Knight Rises Synopsis
It has been eight years since Batman (Christian Bale) vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar (Anne Hathaway) with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane (Ed Hardy), a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

Directed by Christopher Nolan
Cinematography by Wally Pfister
