Marvelous SUPERMAN RETURNS Storyboards By Ed Natividad

As we get closer to the release of Man of Steel, here's the second post about the last Superman movie: Superman Returns.

Tuesday I showed concept art from a deleted scene in Superman Returns (2006). Today I'm bringing you the storyboard for the rooftop scene where a criminal shoots a gatling gun at Superman before a bullet bounces off his eye.

Ed Natividad is a professional storyboard artist and concept illustrator who's worked on films like Oblivion (2013) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002).

All images are from The Art of Superman Returns by Daniel Wallace.

  1. Those would make a good comic book even.

  2. I'm sorry, but even knowing the bullet bounces off his eye doesn't help. Picard's Borg dream sequence from First Contact still sends me shuddering. Anything but the eyes! As always though, nice artwork. It's a talent I wish I had.
