Jet Li Defies Nature In Stunning 'The One' Concept Art

O is for The One
The sci-fi martial arts film The One (2001) follows Gabe Law, a police officer who discovers there are many other versions of himself in other universes.

When Gabriel Yulaw, a former Multiverse Agent and alternate of Gabe, discovers killing other versions of himself makes him stronger he goes on a power-hungry killing spree. He kills 122 other versions and is hunting down Gabe as the last one.

The film has some jaw-dropping special effects and fight scenes as actor Jet Li has to literally fight himself.

Collin Grant (X-Men 2, X-Men 3: X-Men United, The Fifth Element) worked on the film and here are some key concept paintings that explore the special effects of The One.

You can see more of Collin Grant's portfolio and work at uke5.com

What do you think of the designs? Have you seen the movie?
