If you bought the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Blu-Ray you may have noted a glaring omission. It had no special features whatsoever. Even though I loved the movie and featured some of the concept art from the film, I refuse to by a disk without special features. That's why I bought the Blu-Ray in the first place. (Full disclosure: Actually, my wife got tired of me whining for one and got it as an anniversary gift. Thanks sweetie!)
Official Synopsis: A mysterious event from Earth’s past threatens to ignite a war so big that the TRANSFORMERS alone will not be able to save the planet. Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and the AUTOBOTS must fight against the darkness to defend our world from the DECEPTICONS’ all-consuming evil in the smash hit from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg.
Michael Bay decided to hold off until he could produce the "Ultimate" edition of the disk in 3-D for the home. He said, "This Blu-ray 3D of Dark of the Moon will blow you away. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to get a 3D television, this is it."
He finally announced the coming of the entire Transformers trilogy on Blu-Ray along with a Transformers Limited Edition Collector's Trilogy (Seven-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Boxed Set)(Transformers / Transformers 2 / Transformers 3 + Blu-ray 3D Version) on January 31st.
Bay breaks down the whole thing and shows himself signing 5000 plaques for the upcoming "super-duper uber" edition in the video below. I'm especially interested in the concept art sections.
The Art of CYBERTRON
•AUTOBOTS
•DECEPTICONS

Would you pay $111.99 for the disk or are you just going for the special edition?
