Batman Begins concept art by Simon McGuire |
The Christopher Nolan trilogy is long gone and the Dark Knight will soon appear in the Man of Steel sequel. But it's great to look back at the designs for the movie that set the new standard in superhero films. One of the artists that helped Christopher Nolan and production designer Nathan Crowley was Simon McGuire. McGuire is a professional concept artist and set designer who's worked on Hollywood movies like Children of Men (2006), The Matrix Revolutions (2003) and Watchmen (2009).
